A recent client perspective
This is a 'hindsight is 20/20' realization, but I know you initially suggested hiring servers and we opted not to. We realized after the event that having staff serve the food would have been ideal. It would have allowed the guests to stay focused on the program (speeches and performances) while eating, rather than having to split their attention between the two. In our minds, we thought self-serve was fine, but we realized that professional servers are a major time-saver more than a logistical one. I think it's worth mentioning to future clients who might be on the fence! Feel free to use our example as well if you'd like!
